Life is BUSY

I can't believe it's almost been a month since I've last posted, but things have been super busy for us so far this year! We decided long ago that we would start house hunting in January with the thought that it could take a few months to find something we agreed on, but in less than a week we found a great house, put in an offer, and we accepted the counter offer on January 14. The last few weeks have been spent filling out loan documents and doing other things to prepare for our move which will be the first weekend in March. We are both so excited to have over 2,700 square feet which includes two living areas, four bedrooms, and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Not to mention a great open floor on the main floor so I can work in the kitchen while I watch the babies!  Since we are living in a very small three bedroom rental house right now, this is going to feel like a big upgrade. I just hope I can keep up with the cleaning!

On top of that Alexis has been sick for the last week with a stomach virus. It started out with her not having much of an appetite, went to some vomiting (which took me a day or two to recognize as vomiting since all three babies spit up, but this was projectile and much more than they've been spitting up recently), and has turned to diarrhea that stinks up the whole house and leaks through multiple outfits a day. Thankfully, Jack and Faith are still healthy and we pray that they continue to be! We're hoping Lexi will kick this bug soon as she's not herself and in the meantime her siblings seem to be making great strides in their motor skills (Lexi had rolled over for a couple of days before she started feeling really sick, so hopefully she'll do it easily again when she feels better).

Micah also traveled for work for a week at the beginning of the month (while we were in the process of putting an offer on the house) and his mom was able to come down and help me at the last minute, which was amazing and a great help. I did spend one night alone with the babies and we survived :).

Other than that, I have picked up the accounting for our church again which has added to my busyness, and we are both trying to run and make it to the climbing gym on a regular basis.

Here are some pics from the last few weeks (in no particular order)!

Jack LOVES his feet!

While Lexi has been sick she has figured out how to rock herself in her Rock n Play

Book worms! Since I can't hold them all while I read, I often give them each a book to hold when I'm done reading so they can feel (and taste!) the books.

Baby Led Weaning - trying out some bread

Our new way to do baths. I got this idea from a FB Triplet group and everyone loves it!

Everyone is rolling over from back to tummy! Faith has been doing it since January 1st and Jack and Lexi just started doing it consistently in the last week.

Sitting! I have to help him up there but then he can stay for a little bit.
